Lessons by our Holy Fathers
If the mind is always occupied with these things (spiritual knowledge), how can it not long for supernal goodness itself? If it can be drawn to what is alien to it, how will it not be far more strongly drawn to what is cognate? When the soul cleaves to what is kindred to it, how can it turns away from what it loves to anything inferior?
