Cake soated in syrup (revani)

Ingredients:

1 tea cup of butter | ½ cup of sugar | 5 eggs | lemon or orange peels | 2 teacups of semolina | 1 tea cup of flour | 3 teaspoons of baking powder or bicarbonate soda.

Syrup:

3 cups of sugar | 4 cups of water | 1 – 2 cinnamon sticks.

Instructions:

We mix all the ingredients with the eggs and the sugar which have already been mixed. We bake them in 200 degrees for 50 minutes. We take it off the oven as soon as it is browned and we sprinkle it with the hot syrup.
