Ingredients:
½ cup tahini | ¾ cup water | ¼ cup lemon juice | 2 cups sugar | 1 cup orange juice | 1 cup water | 1 teaspoon cinnamon | ½ teaspoon carnation | 3 ½ cups semolina | 1 cup blanched almonds.
For the syrup:
3 cups sugar | 2 ½ cups of water | 1 tablespoon lemon juice |2 cinnamon sticks.
Instructions:
Beat tahini and ¾ cup water with the lemon juice until it turns white. Successively add sugar, orange juice, water, cinnamon, carnation and mixing the semolina mixture. We pour into pan 40x35 cm and cover with almonds over the surface. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, we prepare the syrup by boiling all the ingredients as to thickened. Just pull the semolina pie from the oven, pour with the cold syrup immediately.
