Holy Monastery of Saint Savvas | Prasteio,Pafos | Cyprus

Agios Savvas Holy Monastery in Koronou, was built on the peak of a hill, close to the Diorizos riverside, and in a small distance from the ruined and abandoned Prasteio community in Pafos.

Today only the 12th century Temple is saved. In the next centuries, the monastery sustained transformations and reconstructions, up until it was abandoned and the holy icons and different documents belonging to it were transferred to the Pafos Metropolis for protection.
